Question is: how can I sell a blog for 5k dollars within less time (6 months or less). What blogging niche suits for it? Waiting for the response mate!

Well it really depends on the quality of the site, the content on the site, but most importantly how many visitors and revenue it generates. If you are pulling in $500-1000 per month with the site you should have no problem in selling it for $5000.

I sold a blog last year after having it 4 months for a whole lot more than that. If you build your links the right way, and keep great content on it you can get a high page rank in about 3 months.

As far as a good niche, I would assume that you have looked at the keyword tool to see what is best?

Dude, you shouldn't be thinking of the money first. Think about the value you can give to that site first, then the money will follow.

Big niches that you might be interested in are:

    - Dating Niche
    - Weight Loss Niche
    - MMO Niche
    - Other Self-Help Niches

However the problem with attacking these big niches is that they are swarming with competitors making it even harder for you to establish yourself as an authority within that niche. Your best bet is to dig a bit deeper.

E.g. Weight Loss > Belly Fat > How do I lose belly fat within 1 month?

Something like that. Narrow it down a bit.

But as for the money, well that only happens if you provide valuable information/content. AND even then you are not guaranteed to make money, because you will need to get targeted traffic to your blog.

    - Paid Ads
    - Organic Traffic (Google, SEO) -> Although I do not recommend this due to the constant screw overs of the algorithm.
    - Forum posting
    - Target Related Facebook Fanpages
    - Etc.

Go for niches you have some interest in. Believe me, readers will clock onto content that is written/produced by someone who does not have any passion for it, which only means two things, Back Button and No-one wanting to buy your blog.

    Overall Steps:

    1) Choose a niche that you have interest in.
    2) Analyse that niche and determine whether there is demand for content/products.
    3) Build blog.
    4) Produce quality content. Lot's of it!
    5) Enhance your authoritive image by participating in niche-related forums, social media, etc.
    6) Drive targeted traffic to blog.
    7) Make a bit of money with that blog.
    8) Then sell it.

Investors will happily invest in a website/blog that has an authoritive image, plenty of content, lots of regular visitors and making a bit of income.

    Hope that helps.

If your site is already popular, has high traffic, and is already earning you a lot of money (and you can PROVE it), you can try selling it on flippa.com. There is a fee, but I've seen websites sell for 10k over their easily..

Using Flippa is the best way to flip any site but be sure you have the analytics to back up any claims you might make as to the money making potential of your site. No one will pay for a site if there is no proof of revenue. There is a possibility of selling a site with no income history if the site includes other assets like proprietary patents or software but again documentation is the key here. If your just looking to put up a site and expect to roll it in a couple weeks I think you need to reevaluate your goals. You may just be wasting a couple weeks.

The key to sell a site for a high price is SEO and monetize. If you work on your SEO carefully and build good links, you will be able to monetize the site. The more money you csn make from a site monthly, the more you will sell it for.
