Ebooks

Hi,

We are a not-for-profit organisation and are looking into the idea of creating ebooks of our self-help articles and selling them on. Does anybody have any experience of this or advice regarding how to do this?

Yes you came to the right place. Many of us here sell digital products online such as ebooks. What questions do you have?

Try writing then in notepad and upload them to the Kindle store, thats what i do and i also make a little $$$ in the process.

Go to amazon and download there own free ebook about publishing ebooks for the kindle. Lots of good info in it regarding formatting, marketing, pricing etc.

Most of the info applies to publishing on other networks also.

Also there is a amazon forum specifically for ebook publishers/marketers that can answer any other questions you have.

Selling ebooks is something that many people do. If you are going t write the ebooks you will sell your earnings will be high. The most difficult part will be to write those ebooks, if I understood well you already have a website with some traffic. So just write your ebooks and add them on a new page of your site.

If you already have all the material and just need it composing into a book you can outsource it, it will work out cheaper than learning and doing it yourself.
