Hi I have seen a couple threads where people put a video in their post and I wondered how it is done. I suppose another good question is whether or not admin frowns on it for some bandwidth reason. Anyway, interested to hear your answer, have a great day |

Hi Chris, I believe you simply link to it. Copy and paste the URL into your thread. The bandwidth issues shouldn't be a problem, as the host isn't the Warrior Forum. HTH Glenn |

Just copy and paste the embed code (not url) in the html tab of the post. |

Nope... that won't work, it will just show the embed html code... It's simple to add a video to a WF post, just copy/paste the video url (youtube and google works as far as I know)

I do this all the time and it shows normally. I just tried with the video url and it doesn't work. I'm talking about wordpress not posting here. Quote:

Will this work for adding video to a WF Blog also? I've tried a few times & keep getting it wrong. Thanks, Ken

Ken, I've also tried adding videos to our WF Blogs, but like you, I have not had any luck... I believe the admin has disabled videos in the WF Blogs... Has anyone successfully added a video to their WF Blog? If so, how? Jared |

for WordPress get the plugin called Vipers Video Quicktags and then you can embed any videos - not just YouTube - into your WordPress posts and pages.

You know I've wondered the same thing for a while, about how to post a video on the forum. Didn't realize it was this easy. Thanks for all your answers.

I have done it and had it work and then done the same thing and had it not work with the WF. I haven't tried to figure it out but I think there is something quirky about the embed feature on WF - sometimes it will put the video there, sometimes just the URL. May be disabled in some subforums. |

Hi Guys and Gals, Yup. I've just used the URL method and it works! Now... anyone got any tips on how to embed your PayPal "Buy" button into the Warrior Special Offer page? Thanks. Paul Hooper-Kelly |

Hi, I thought I'd give this a shot myself. I've tried pasting the YouTube video url and when I do I get a link to the video and not the video itself. I've also tried to paste the embed code and it always shows up as just the code itself. Is there something else I should be doing to make this work? All The Best, Tony |
