50 Search Unique Visitors Daily,How Do I Monetize It?

I have a site in a cake accessory niche which is recording 50 unique visitors daily from search engine. Infact it is on the first page, position 2 on Google.

Initially, i intend to monetize the site with adsense when i bought the domain on Godaddy but i later realized the former owner had got his adsense account banned on it, so i don't want to risk my account on it.

So how do you suggest i monetize it?

Thanks.

It is difficult to get any significant money out of such small traffic. One thing that you might be able to do is to select particular related items from Amazon and sell them as an affiliate. You might get a sale every other day or so, depending on the item and how you present them.

I would suggest you build it into something more than a small handful of random people with who-knows-what-buying-intent before you even bother attempting to monetize it.

Everyone always rushes to try to monetize. Seriously - what's your output of cash on this? It's probably close to nothing, so just keep building until it's worth selling something on it. By that time you'll have a ton of analytics data which can guide you as to the intent that your visitors have.

As others have said, you need to build up your traffic before you monetise something like this really.

If you are really keen to monetise you could always create a report to sell on the site, which would bring you in some small sales and snowball when your traffic increases.

You can start building list using this traffic. If you can have 15-20% get on your list, then you'll have about 7-10 new signs ups each day and gradually your list will build up.

Then you can promote whole kind of offers to them like amazon, cooking books etc.

I would say do affiliate marketing and built a list, but in order to do that, you need to keep building the site up so your traffic grows.

I agree that you should focus your efforts on building up that traffic before you start worrying about monetizing the site. You'll get a much better perspective on where people are going (what pages are more popular than others) as well as reveal a better measurement for conversions once you really start attracting more visitors.

But to help answer your initial question - there are alternatives to Adsense, such as Bidvertiser, Chitika, and AdBrite. Think about what your visitors are there for... perhaps looking for cake accessories... find cake accessories on Amazon or other Affiliate networks to promote.

    Hope this helps.

IMHO 50unique visitors per day is not a big traffic that you can readily monetize it. Build your site first with content and solid traffic, since your site is about cake accessories you can add affiliate products from amazon
