WSO affiliate bonuses not getting delivered?

Is it just me, or has there lately been an increase in occurrences, where you purchase a WSO specifically through someone's affiliate link to get their promised bonus, only to never get the bonus? Despite multiple communication and follow-up attempts.

Is this the latest WarriorPlus system changes? Because it seems to have been happening more since then... coincidence?? But that wouldn't explain why the affiliate doesn't at least respond to the follow-up support tickets or emails.

I had really thought that at least some of these affiliates have integrity...

Any comments?

The affiliate program is not part of the Warrior Forum - it's associated with WarriorPlus which is a totally different site. Surely you know that as you aren't new to the WF.

You can contact the WSO SELLER to alert him to what his affiliate is doing - you can complain to WarriorPlus as that's where the affiliate signed up.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Thank you for your suggestion to contact the WSO Seller(s) and/or complain to WarriorPlus. I will probably pursue at least one of those options.

Yes, I realize that the Warrior Forum and WarriorPlus are not directly associated.

However, I was hoping to get feedback from other Warriors whether this is also happening to anyone else.

If an affiliate is offering you a bonus and the product they are promoting is being sold through Warrior Plus, they have the ability to add an affiliate bonus link when they get their unique affiliate link. This then means the bonus link is delivered to everyone who buys through their link automatically. The bonus link is available on the same Warrior Plus thank you page as the actual product you just purchased.

Most affiliates should now be using this feature. Obviously this only works for Warrior Plus products however I do believe JVZoo has a similar feature.

Thanks, WillR. However, this automatic bonus link doesn't work for all WSOs.

Anyways, the WSOs for which I've been getting non-delivery and non-responses were ones where we were specifically required to email our Paypal receipt or submit a ticket to their support desk.

After a bit more analysis, one commonality I've noticed with these WSOs is that the Paypal address appears to be that of the WSO seller (I assume, since one can't always identify a Paypal address to a specific seller), and not necessarily that of the WSO affiliate. So if they are cross-referencing the bonus requests with their own affiliate sales, they're presumably not finding a match.

I don't know how the W+ bonus delivery works, but assume that the link goes out to all sales the affiliate referred.

The problem with offering a bonus under rotating payments is that the affiliate has no way of knowing if the person contacting them was actually referred by them, because they don't have a matching transaction when the seller got paid for the sale (I think).

They would need to coordinate with the seller and possibly W+ to ensure the referral/sale was legitimately entitled to the bonus.

P.S. - Digibilly offers this too
With Warrior+, automatic bonus delivery is only available if you're promoting an offer that uses adaptive payments. It's not available for the 'old fashioned' way of doing things.

Yes, from my experience, it's unreliable... some people will get their bonuses others don't.

Sometimes there are issues with email, tickets, etc... or the email address they're using to send out the affiliate promotions isn't checked often.

If you purchase WSO's regularly, I'd suggest investing the $37 and becoming a War Room member so you can PM the affiliate, it's a reliable form of communication.

One thing affiliates can do is use something like Contact Form 7 (free), customize it a little (easy) and have people request bonuses that way.
