Is Amazon Micro niche sites dead?

Just asking because I hardly see any affiliate sites on first page anymore. Panda updates has put big authority sites on top

is it still possible to earn money from Amazon micro niche sites?

It's possible as long as you make a good site. Bad content isn't a good user experience.

Yes, it is still possible to earn from MNS. Although you will have to take a different approach on it now.

Why Not Link all your Mini niche sites into a network?
By using a smart linking structure your mini sites all add up to ONE BIG AUTHORITY SITE.

Enough little things in a pile make a big pile.

    Take care

Given the low payouts on Amazon, I don't understand why anyone would build a micro niche site -- unless they are promoting a really expensive product. It's going to take a lot of traffic, so go big. You should also consider cross promoting products. If you're in the video game niche, don't just promote the video game itself. Promote a game console on which the game can be played as well as related accessories.

Because I had some good experience with Amazon. I was earning 500$ per month from 4 websites with only 10 articles each until the demise of BuildMyRank and Panda update

Sure, it's possible to make money with Amazon. I make what many consider to be a full time income as an Amazon affiliate and I do it in just an hour or two per day.

What I don't do is build 3-page micro-sites. My sites are larger and of higher quality but very easy to do. Just provide quality info and target products you can actually rank for.

Small sites with bad content and ugly faces aren't flying anymore. You need good, attractive content to catch buyers' attention. Of course that costs time and/or money.

No. It's 100% completely totally impossible to earn any money whatsoever from Amazon any longer.

You should PM me with your domains and allow me to pay you $0.01 to take each one off of your hands and I'll make sure that no one else wastes their time trying to build sites on those domains.

Micro/Sniper/Mini niche sites do still work but not quite as well as they used to. You cannot simply build the site in an hour or two, throw some links at it and leave it be. You need to use a more varied approach.

As far as i am concerned sniper sites for amazon product have always just been practice for making larger authority sites. It is almost always more beneficial to build larger and longer term sites.

      Hi,

oda what does you mean with this; "Why Not Link all your Mini niche sites into a network"?

What is that for a network who I should link all my micro niche sites-btw. how to build such a link network?

Do you mean a link wheel?

      best wishes

    Hi,

@wildjack; and how I find new profitable affiliate products direct from the merchants without these affiliate programs like clikbank, junkcommission and so on?

Yes you can always find a profitable niche but not with the same approach. If you think just to slap 10 articles and hit backlinks like crazy, this doesn't fly anymore. Now you need to have fresh quality and big content, plus quality backlinks.

      Hi,

I am going to try out on a market, where nearly no azon affiliate sites are build (at least not even near the level in the US).

But there are SOME big review and product comparison sites that target visitors in that country.
So I have a damn good feeling to start.

Well, all azon info products I have read through always ever talk about fetching Your longtaildomain/ productdomain.
I am a bit concerned, that none of the products I know ever talked about possible trademark problems.

I mean, imagine the case, You are on a hunt for digital gadgets and have running a greater sitenetwork already, lots of domains with productnames in there from one or two manufacturers, cause they have run best.

And then a lawyer from the manufacturer crosses Your way, and takes all the online assets away from You cause You used domainnames like
      galaxys3reviews.com
      razrmaxxbestreviews.com
      etc.

      That woudlnt be good, right?

So I wonder why this is not talked about in the most infoproducts, that at least one should check if a product (I dont mean the brand name, this anyway is MOST dangerous) is trademarked...

      Cheers.

Best way is not to use individual product names for the domain name, but have a more generic domain name and use it to promote several related products.

ie: Instead of buying "GarminNuvi1250.com" and marketing only the Garmin Nuvi 1250, try something like "GPSReviews.com" and market several different GPS systems.

How about if you have an authority site and then start putting Amazon products there? I have been considering this but seeing that Google hates affiliate links, would not this lead to the downgrading of the site's already acquired authority?
    Cheers.

in case you did not notice, google likes sites that use stupid Adwords,
they hate affiliate sites, no matter how good they are,
soon you are not gonna see any any more,
    they want all the money
but because they are so greedy, it will be their demise

I suspect they don't like it very much, but they know websites need to make money to survive, so they have said that they aren't against affiliate sites, but they need to provide something extra to just placing what is on other sites

So I think making things following what they have said shouldn't have any problem
