Direct customers to clickbank payment page?

Do you still get commission for clickbank products if you direct the customer straight to the payment page via your website?

Hey aaron... yes you do provided you are sending via an affiliate link.

As long as your affiliate ID remains on the page. I've done this a few times. Just click on the pay now button, make sure your ID is in place and copy the url. Send people to the url you copied and it's just like they clicked the pay now button.

This is an excellent method to get your Clickbank account terminated.

cool, happy days, that means I can promote the products instead of pre-sell. And instead of sending potential customers to them stupid looking silly sales pages that you can't read, you can lay it out and describe it more user friendlier.

    Thanks

I'm afraid the reality isn't nearly as simple as the comments above suggest, Aaron.

      As you saw yesterday: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6632448

First, ClickBank's rules oblige you (for understandable reasons?) to have the vendor's express permission to do this.

Secondly, if you do it, you won't be setting your affiliate cookie on the prospective customers' computers, which has an enormous potential downside unless they happen to be among the minority who buy at their first visit to the order-page.

This question's asked and answered here (albeit with hugely varying degrees of accuracy) all the time.

Ok I understand now, thanks Alexa for clearing this up - again.
