How Much is a Blog Post Like This Worth

A good friend of mine owns an SEO company but he's too busy to create content for his own site. He wants me to generate a blog post similar to the seo moz article below. I'm trying to figure out what I should charge him for this, considering the image and research time included.

    Looks like a very detailed piece of writing. which could take half a day. How much do you think you time is worth?

    Hmm, It depends on how much you know the subject. I'd probably charge $100 - $200. Funny thing is I used to write articles every bit as detailed as that one for $10. Never underestimate the value of your time and talent.

    Just charge him whatever you think your time is worth. I'd say you must charge him per word in that case you can come up with a well worth quote.

    If you're looking to charge him less then just give him an affiliate link attached to the article so that you make sales whenever someone clicks it and buys.
