Can Someone help me with my screen Capture quality

INTERNET MARKETING

hey warriors, I am working on a free video to shoot to my list, the only problem is that I think the quality sucks,

the words are blurry and hard to read

I use camstudio to capture the picture, I record in full screen mode

then I use video web wizard to convert into flv, In video web wizard I change the resolution down to 640x320 but I have also tried many other sizes

I think I have tried almost every combination of sizes and still blurry as hell

anyone have any tips

its the likely the codecs your using. Under the video options switch to a different one besides the default ms one. go here CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software and download the Lossless Codec:CamStudioCodec14.exe . install it then change this to your default codex. You can also do this with popular divx code. Once you've done this you should get much better performance. Dont pay anyone.

It may also help to record at the resolution that you'll be publishing it in. That will also make your file smaller, which means you won't need to compress it as much.

Its always a good idea to record your videos in the same resolution as your rendering for final output.

  If you don't want to do many videos Nick, grab the free 30 day trial of Camtasia.
  
  None of the features are disabled (as far as I can tell) and no annoying watermark is built into the 30 day trial.
  
  The quality is excellent and you can crank out a LOT of videos in 30 days.
  
  This way you won't have to fool around with codec stuff but try getting a cheap Logitech USB microphone if you're using a laptop (I found that my built-in Dell laptop mike kept picking up hard drive noise but the USB mike has been great).

  I had the same problem as you, I had to play around with the pixel size of the video as it appears on my website in order to get somewhat decent quality.
