I would say solo ads too. I use quite a bit of them and the average opt-in rate is between 25-30%.

Your conversion rate on solo ads is pretty irrelevant. It doesn't tell us much other than how many people opted into your FREE offer. It doesn't mean those people will ever buy a thing from you.

The fact is people on solo email lists are being blasted with offers left right and center every other day of the week. Therefor they are not going to necessarily be as responsive as leads you have picked up elsewhere.

I'm not too concerned about optin rate and neither should you be. ROI is all that counts at the end of the day.

He with the biggest list does NOT win. He with the most responsive list wins.

Solo ads are NOT "by a country mile" the best paid traffic generating strategies you could be using. Will, is right, this is not simply a numbers game, it's a conversions game. PPC, Banner ads and even Facebook advertising are far superior than solo ads.

solo ads are a good option and also some other ppc networks like 7 search, ad market place, and check out http://ads.pof.com its a dating site so weight loss stuff works well on there

getting traffic to your squeeze page is easy it`s conversions and making your campaigns super profitable with the right sales funnel which is the harder part

You need to do some research for getting most working campaign option. Need to do some experiment. Because it varies man to man and also campaign to campaign. You may try Facebook ads and/or 7search.

It varies for so many people. Solo ads can be great although like any source, you can't always guarantee the quality of those subscribers.

If the product is decent then you could also do a WSO and offer the product in exchange for the opt-in. It's how you treat them after the opt-in that counts.

From my experience (I've tried them all) solo ads and quality media buys, it can be tricky, like everything but once you find a winning combination, works like magic.

Well i would suggest to buy targeted traffic. Probably USA targeted + Niche targeted.

I have tested a few providers and one of them had the best bounce rate, visit time. In my project each visit has an average of near 3 minutes on the page and the bounce rate is below 60% so i think its good. Its not cheap but its still very good.

CPC its extremely expensive and many times does not convert at all. About Solo Ads i don´t like that much the price per optin, normally you buy clicks not optins, some can guarantee you 40-50% optins, in the end you will pay $1 - $2 per optin at least.

    This. Exactly.

This is part of the reason I don't use squeeze pages any more. I can build significantly more responsive lists without them than with them.

My highly targeted traffic deserves and gets something better than a squeeze page.

My best source of floods of highly targeted traffic is article marketing: I've never seen anything that compares with it, at all. http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5035794

But I'm willing to investigate and test and experiment with almost anything that isn't SEO-dependent (I do actually get quite a lot of SEO traffic, too, but it's not very good for me, in any niche, by comparison with anything else at all, really).

I would recommend paid search (PPC) because you'll get high quality sign-ups who will convert for you when you mail out. You may have to modify your strategy a bit as a squeeze page won't be looked at highly by Adwords, so focus on producing highly relevant, high quality content, and include an opt in on the site. If the content is truly deemed as high quality, you'll get signups. Offer them something in return for their information.

With this strategy, you'll be able to build your search campaign around your content and this will guarantee you high QS, which results to lower acquisition costs. Cheers.
