I hope I posted this on the correct sub-forum.

Here goes.

Okay so I have a 1 gig that has 7 completed orders and 1 canceled order which gives me a rating of 87% percent.

Now my question is is this rating the rating for that 1 gig only or not?

Because what I'm planning is creating a duplicate gig and suspend the first one. The purpose is to have 100% rating once again.

So if I do this I will not get 100%? Or not because that 87% current that I have is for my entire account.

even if you delete the gig your account will still have the same rating.

However, 87% is not too bad..

87% is ok. As long as you have good feedback on your gigs then people will still buy from you

You're probably best off forgetting about the order that was cancelled. Make a few more sales and that percentage will soon shoot up before you know it.

      • Sorry, preceding three posters, but you're all wrong.

        Here's why:

With over 1 million gigs on site, there has to be an easy way to search. There is. It's called Sort by Rating. Worse (for the OP) is that Fiverr calls it "Sort by Customer Satisfaction."

I'm sure you can figure out where an 87% rating is going to end up.

        Here's another reason why:

Until the OP can get that rating back up by completing lots of gigs successfully, he won't qualify for Level 1 or Level 2. And that's where the better money is. He will have a very hard time getting lots of gigs because of his low rating. (See above.)

It might just be easier at this point to discard this Fiverr profile and start again.

My first post was also correct. If he can get Customer Service to remove the cancellation from his record, all is good. He didn't say what the reason was for the cancellation -- it may have been yet another customer who wanted the Encyclopedia Brittanica transcribed onto cocktail napkins, for all I know.

If he can get it treated as a mutual cancellation, it doesn't affect his rating.

Yes That's right it doesn't affect his rating, but with cancellation that will hold him back from getting to the next level.
