Where do you go for free powerpoint templates?

I don't know about finding one exactly like you've mentioned but these sites have a ton of templates:

Also, it's important to know the difference between a Powerpoint template and a PP background.

A PP background is simply a jpeg (png/gif) image. This means you can use PP backgrounds in other projects, and also that you can use jpgs/pngs/gifs as a PP background.

A template is just a background with some PowerPoint formatting.

Ah well I hope its just templates I need, im creating slideshow videos using openoffice impress. I hate the plain templates, I just wanted to find some themed templates related to the niche im creating a video in...

If you're using Impress, then you'll need to convert the templates from PP to OO, which will probably mess up the formatting a bit.

IMO, you should either search for Impress templates (instead of PP), or find a good looking background jpg and just format things yourself.

  It's drop-dead easy to create your own designs in PPT. Either find (buy) or create a background that looks the way you want it, and after that it's just text formatting, images, etc.
  
  You'll end up with a presentation that is not only closer to what you want, but will be totally unique. Not sure about Impress, but in PPT it's easy to create a template from there, if you want.

Recently went through a lot of sites trying to find a decent template for my presentation. I really wanted to make an effective and beautiful presentation for a business meeting, and most importantly free. Stumbled upon this site and found what you need! I hope that my post will be useful for you.

If you have Microsoft Office 365 (pimp product that I totally endorse) - there are literally BOATLOADS of hot templates for powerpoint... (Use the web search function as soon as you start 365... It's tight)...

If you conduct webinars / presentations / training it's literally a dream come true...

(Lots of awesome eBook templates too)...

I like this new site Professional PowerPoint Templates and Themes | Drive2point.com with fresh ideas. Just check Free PowerPoint templates. Previously I used to save different jpeg pictures and download them as backgrounds or insert like pictures. The more important meeting you have - the more professional template you need.

  PowerPoint templates are broadly used for presentations, designing slides and more purpose. There are various sites available online from where you can get free PowerPoint templates. But you have to select site according to your need and requirement, which is suites to your project. Recently I downloaded free templates from powerpointstyles and i get really satisfied.

it always depends on the purpose you need templates. You need first to define your requirement, which suites to your project. I used to download free templates from powerpointstyles and i get really satisfied.
But keep in mind, that free=common. Sometimes it makes sense not to do the same work twice or just be somehow unique. You can try Presentation Templates for PowerPoint and Keynote | PPT Star , they have pretty good tech support, I was satisfied. So god luck with the project anyway

If I need some free templates I always look for them on poweredtemplate website. They are really nice there and for virtually every purpose I need. Very cool ideed.
