Anyone know where I can get a good marketing manager?
I posted a job for a marketing manager on Odesk and Elance and I've found me some slim pickings. Does anyone know where I can find a good marketing manager , here was the job I posted:
We are revolutionizing staff outsourcing. Our headquarters is in the Philippines. We offer a mix of office based and home based solutions for clients that require customer service outsourcing, telemarketing or virtual assistants. My goal is to have a steady flow of leads or sales for products and services.
I'm looking for marketing manager with the following skills:
- Excellent english communication and grammar skills for selling in print
- A deep understanding of sales psychology.. and presenting benefits vs features
- Ability to organize and manage small teams from start to finish on a project
- Ability to get projects done in a timely manner in a very cost efficient and resourceful way
- Very organized
- reliable, dependable - follows through on all commitments
- Good eye for design and quality branding
- Enjoy learning about new marketing strategies or tactics
Job responsibilities:
1 - You will use a tool like getclicky.com for tracking web site traffic stats (instead of Google Analytics)
2- You will be responsible for using tools like Unbounce.com or Visual Website Optimizer for the creation, tracking and tweaking of landing pages.
3 - You will need to track all of our traffic sources and work to optimize our landing pages.
4 - You will need to hire, coordinate and oversee the activities of other marketing contractors like wordpress designers, adwords specialist, press release writers, SEO contractor, contractors on Fiverr.com , etc.
5- You will need to find and reach out to potential partners for strategic marketing opportunities. (Popular blog site owners, highly visible Facebook page owners, high ranking web sites)
The ultimate goal of your activities is:
- To maximize as many free or cheap traffic generating opportunities that are out there.
- To ensure that all marketing activities are happening on a routine basis
- To ensure that all marketing activities are delivering a clearly tracked ROI
- To ensure that we are regularly testing and tweaking landing page offers to ensure maximum conversion (especially for traffic coming from expensive sources)
