Anyone Sold Microsites and/or Landing pages To Companies Before

I had heard of a business model where you create microsites similar to niche sites, designed specifically for the keyword a company is looking to target and you use these microsites to generate traffic for the primary site.

Kinda like the niche business only pushing people to a main site instead of amazon or adsense, ans being paid on a per project base or per click/ per action basis.

Generally targeting companies with high average sale price so you can charge an amount that makes it all worth it, and if they get even 1 sale from your campaign it easily covers the cost.

I am just trying to figure out the business model a bit more from others with more experience. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Not exactly, but I do know a couple of business owners (not affiliates) trying to do this as a strategy. I further know that some people make sites and rent them out to local offline businesses for a good monthly steady profit. You could think in the rental model lines.

Are you talking about selling the sites to the companies or just getting paid for links or leads?

Creating a series of micro sites for the top keywords they are looking to rank for, as a marketing package. Each site is a landing page to drive traffic to their main site and hopefully convert. You can drive organic and paid traffic to these landing pages
