I am writing an article in my blog. It is basically a list of movies that relate to my niche.

I have this format in it.

"Movie title
How it relates to the niche on an A-F grading scale

A paragraph about the movie and how it relates to the niche and if they should watch it or not."

I have quite a few of these for this post. So my question is that I want to put pictures of each movie in it, but what I am thinking is that I will put an amazon picture (im an amazon affiliate) only ad above it instead of just a regular picture. Is this a good idea?

I have the design layout of the wordpress blog but have it in maintenance mode and not being indexed by the search engines as I am still writing articles for it. I have 8 articles from 750-1700 words just waiting till I have about 20 so I can start out with a few then put one on every other day.

    Hi footballbob06,

The best option is trying it and finding what works best. Post some articles with just a picture that links to Amazon and some with the ad instead of the picture.

It's a way to tailor the approach to your particular audience.

    What I'd do is:

    1- Title

2- Introductory paragraph, where also I'd mention that will be a recommend place where to buy it

3- The list with a picture each (not from amazon and with alt text, just a picture) and obviosly with a review, info, and finaly a button at the end of each review that says buy this at Amazon, or something like that

I am planning on making this only one post with a bunch of movies in it so I don't want it to be ten pages long. Would it be better maybe to have a buy button at the end that just goes to amazon? I don't want this really to be a review thing but rather an informative post on the movies for this niche so I don't want to do a post for each. Or maybe it would have a buy button at the bottom of each movie? Im not sure.

A button at the bottom of each movie may be better.

Some people won't read your post to the end and you must make it the easiest possible for them to buy.

So a picture then at the top of each movie then a buy now button at the bottom of each "review". Where would I be able to get pictures of each of these movies(other than Amazon) that wouldn't get me into trouble for using these pictures.

Also where do I get the buy it now button on the amazon site to use with my affiliate link?
