WP Theme that shows video?

Hey Warriors!

Does anyone know of a good - preferably FREE or very affordable - WP Theme that will auto-play a video on the main page?

I am working on a project and I need a theme like that.

    I don't think you need a specific theme to accomplish that. You can probably use any theme you want - and look for a WordPress plugin with video autoplay functionality.

    One plugin option is VideoPress:

    You could get a YouTube or Vimeo shortcode plugin for the WP Theme, and then just set the video embed to autoplay when you pull it from the video site. Or, if you really want customization options you can use JW Flowplayer and just trick it out exactly how you want it- Flowplayer - Flash Video Player for the Web : Flowplayer

    I agree with the JW Player plugin. I use it with different themes without any problems, one is even a membership site.

    VideoPress is an Automattic service and the videos are pulled from a wordpress.com account. It's still a great service.

    If you have the Auto-embeds box checked on the Settings >> Media screen then you can embed services with just the URL.

    It can pull from this list of services Embeds « WordPress Codex

    I have several sites with auto play videos on most pages. Any theme will do this. No plugin needed. Simply take the embed code from a you tube video, add the code to make it auto play, and paste this into the html section of the post or page.

    The code needed is ?rel=08amp;autoplay=1 start with the question mark directly after the number that identifies the video, just insert it there. I hope this helps.

      yep just throw your video up on youtube and when you input the link in wordpress just add &autoplay=1 to the end and your in business
