HEY WARRIORS I HAVE A QUESTION IM MAKING MY FIRST SITE AN THE SCARY PART IS THE KEYWORDS I DID A LIL RESEARCH ON MY KEYWORD IT HAS 1300 1900 LOCAL SEARCHES IS THAT GOOD SHOULD I GET

    Its not fantastic, but it's above the min 1000 per month... is that exact match?

    The other thing is competition... have you checked how many competing pages you're up against?

    Make sure your keyword search used EXACT MATCHING. Broad match yields "ghost" traffic figures. By the way, ease up on the caps lock

    Hi, I am also very new to Warrior and I am trying to understand if it can help me build traffic to my new site that I am having built at this time. I will be selling women's and men's product lines I have over 30 years in that type of business as a sales rep on the road plus owned a mail order business before so I know that side of business. But as I can see and understand on the Internet business is only on word and that is " Traffic ". So please tell me am I going to find answers here that can help me with my new site?           I wasn't saying this post. I was referring to in the future. A lot of people post questions that could be easily answered with a quick search. It tends to irritate some veterans and should be avoided.

    Hey ezell.

    What exactly are you trying to accomplish. You haven't disclosed what type of website you are building. Are you building a website to target one single keyword? You will get much better responses from the forums if you give very specific details as to what you are trying to accomplish.

    Keyword research is the foundation for building your site as well having a content strategy. I would recommend you get support in this area. I'm sure there are several people on the Warrior forum who could help you out on this. Also Fivrr.com could be a place where someone will do some keyword research for you.

    Keyword research isn't something you want to rush through or guess on. Its the essence of deciding whether you should go after a niche or decide to bag it and go where there is more potential for traffic.
