Why do you want to? Double-optins make it the most sought after type of an email list you can have.

not sure, but i dont use single optin as it tends to lead to spam. If people really want your free report or newsletter, then they shouldn't have a problem confirming anyway

You can't turn it off once enabled...however you can run new lists without it. Despite what most people say...I run almost all my lists as single optin without issue. It is definitely the most profitable. However, certain niches (like IM) are more prone to spam complaints and it may be worth running confirmed lists. |

LB makes a good point. I run non-IM niches as single opt-in and haven't had an issue, but I wouldn't do this for the IM niche. I personally feel that single opt-ins can be more profitable, but that is a matter of opinion.

Hi, It's alright if you want to turn off the double opt-in feature. Single opt-in generates a bigger list, not considering the level of responsiveness though. There's some people who don't want single opt-in because of the spam considerations but it's up to you. Asher |
