I'm selling the Warrior Forum :)) - major Flippa bug

Hey warriors,

So it seems like Flippa is a bit buggy these days:

I am actually trying to sell WP Plugin Sky-Rockets Conversions for ANY VIDEO, but since it's redirected at the Warrior Forum thread, Flippa automatically replaced the URL.

Normally this shouldn't happen as I wouldn't be able to verify the ownership of the WF, but since this is a relisting I didn't have to go through the verification process once again.

I think this is quite a dangerous bug - since people can easily claim ownership and attempt to sell sites they don't own this way.. hopefully the Flippa team will catch the bug soon and fix this

    Don't you have a webpage? You just need to change the url. What in the world are you gonna leave it like that? Whats dangerous is YOU fix it!

    I don't have a webpage - I am selling the plugin on the thread and the domain is simply redirected to the thread. The first time I listed the website it was all fine - the URL displayed was wpvideoprofits.com, not warriorforum.com

    And it's not dangerous for me - it's dangerous in general. Other people might list less obvious sites and sell them even through they don't own them (and Flippa will show that they are the verified owners)

    That is a major flippa bug for sure; I just saw your flippa auction before hitting here and knew what had happen. I always make sure the auction owner has to verify the site, if not then it could have scam written all over it. Something happen to me on flippa where the owners would not prove their company llc and I could not find their office address they gave on the contract. I could not find them and my lawyer could not in all their searches. At the end of the day, I said no way to the deal, it looked great but smelled bad!

    Unfortunately, I am afraid that not everyone will be as cautious as you were! Many people are greedy and overlook obvious stuff like the ones you've just mentioned - proving the llc, office address, lawyer etc.

    It would still be ideal if Flippa would take care of this issue..

    That's for sure traianturcu! Hopefully Flippa will step up its service. I am having a Flippa type auction site being coded but it will be a while and this is one thing that is being included, physical verification of auctions over x amount.

      They need to fix it ASAP. I would not want my site's URL showing if it's NOT for sale under someone else Flippa posting.

      There could be legal issues as well.
