It seems Top Rated Seller on Fiverr needs 100 Percent

I`ve been looking around on fiverr lately and it looks like becoming a top rate seller on fiverr you must have a 100 percent rating next to your username. I`m just taking a guess but anyone know if this is true?

    Everybody's guessing, it seems.

    Here's the scoop:

Top Rated Sellers are manually chosen by Fiverr editors. Promotion is based on criteria including: seniority, volume of sales, extremely high rating, exceptional customer care and community leadership.

They mean exactly that. Send them thousands of sales and a 100% rating isn't quite so important.

If you make a lot of money for Fiverr, they'll reward you. Howver, if you have the marketing chops to drive a lot of traffic to your Fiverr gig, your talents are being wasted on Fiverr.

Recently Fiverr boasted it had five sellers who have made $100,000 or more. All five (it's not hard to figure out who) have been on the site since the beginning, so that means they're busting their humps for about $33,000 a year, pretax. (You *are* reporting your Fiverr earnings to the tax authority, right?) In the U.S. state and federal governments take at least a third of that.

Maybe $22k sounds like good money to you, but I tend to set my sights, um, somewhat higher.

I will have you know that there are no less than 10,000 posts on this forum saying you can make a ton of money at Fiverr. So Fiverr must be lying about their sellers having made so little!

Hi Fluff, thanks for that info, I thought exactly like you were saying but had no proof for it. By the way do you have a link to confirm this, as it looks like you are quoting this from somewhere: "Top Rated Sellers are manually chosen by Fiverr editors. Promotion is based on criteria including: seniority, volume of sales, extremely high rating, exceptional customer care and community leadership."
I must say I am pretty shocked by the statistic above that there are only 5 sellers earning 6 figures + a year pre tax. I would advise the PR team at Fiverr to keep that hush hush, as it certainly won't encourage anyone who rates their abilities to join up. (However, as discussed in detail in many threads many people who really value their servies and time wouldn't be hanging around there much anyway as sellers!).

N.B. Any grand plans for your 2,000th post, I for one am looking forward to it.

    • Hi Joel,

Actually I hadn't given much thought to the much-vaunted 2000th post but perhaps I should. I don't want to disappoint you. :p

I don't think 100% rating is a fact. Cause I am hiring people who have the desired offers for me. not them who have 100% rating. So i don't think its a major fact.

People give bad ratings even if it's a little late, I never that that.

I know I won't deal with anyone that has even one complaint against them. It's why I have no clothes, eat no food, and have no friends.

I think most big sellers are using fiverr to shuffle the buyers to other places so the buyer will buy things directly from them

Yeah, I`m exactly the same. I have sold so many gigs on fiverr and I have a 99% feedback. Thats why I`m wondering if you need to have a 100% in order to get a "top seller badge"
