IM STILL PUTTING TOGETHER MY FIRST SITE AND I WAS LOOKING AT A LOT OF BREAKING NEWS STORIES ABOUT THAT GUY THAT HURT PEOPLE IN THE MOVIES AN NOTICE A LOT OF THE SITES HAD THE SAME VIDEOS AN POST AN THOUGHT CAN I PUT THE NEWS ON MY WEBSITE WORD FOR WORD AT TIMES

    You can quote the news source and also curate it to add your own personal opinion about the events. Add your own personal view about it and what you think people should be doing to prevent that barbaric act.

    I wish to express my condolences to all the families that have been affected by this tragic events.

      It is current news and very tragic so it will be of interest at the moment, try and give your own point of view on the matter and use a link to the video/news report..

    If it is to gain traffic given the interest at the moment, then I find that quite disturbing. The thought that someone can exploit a disastrous accident purely for traffic means...wouldn't be the first thing I think of OP.

    I can't imagine why anyone would have done something like that. It's sad that it's giving the movie extra advertising because they keep mentioning the name on the news all the time..

    Yes you can quote it and make sure you list the reference but don't just copy and paste word for word.

    You could consider sourcing some YouTube vidoes for your site too. Video news often converts VERY well

    I would advise against going word for word unless you state exactly where the content came from.

    Personally and this is just me, I would avoid the subject altogether and leave stories and videos about such a tragic event to the big boys! Topics like this can be very sensitive and upsetting to people involved and their families. Some people may view websites containg such content as trying to benefit from such a horrible event!

    Again my deepest sympathy for all involved! its just pure evil that things like that happen full stop!
