Hi,

I now have a squeeze page almost done.
There are some corrections and my video is to be added.
I am now wondering where best to put it: My squeeze page designer suggested the home page, but I wondered if I make the squeeze page the current opt in page and drive traffic to that. Your advice and expertise greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Depends really. Does your site have any other content on it? If so it's probably best to make your squeeze page separate and drive traffic to its direct URL.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

You are going to want people to see that page before anything else so having it on the main page seems valid. Go with it and see what works, you can always move it later.

My opt in forms tend to be on my home page (also called a landing page), with great content to show readers the kind of stuff they will be getting once they submit their email address. In fact, I've currently found success by posting part of the opt-in incentive on my landing page, and am in the process of switching my other niches to the same format.

If you want to drive traffic using Adwords then do not put the squeeze page as your home/landing page.

The OP never mentioned Adwords. At all. Didn't even hint at it either.

The one-liner brigade is really putting up some head-scratchers this morning .

Hey, he was asking about driving traffic to his squeeze page. I just gave him the heads up before he tried using Adwords.

Agree with wlasikiewicz that having a Squeeze in the home page is good especially when you want people see that page first before any other pages.
Alternately as BloggingPro said, you can also put it in separated and notify people with the button which directs to your Squeezepage.
