EDIT: I removed the link, as it now goes somewhere else - NOT where I originally linked to.
Someone is forwarding the domain to a not so nice site.

I think they've done the marketing from
a "mom", and a "Christian" perspective pretty well.

It's got the "authentic" look to it (even though I don't think it is, I think it's all marketing), and hits on the "hot buttons" it needs to, etc...

    These things are all over the place in the 'make money online', 'weight loss' and a few other niches.

    When you look at the meager 40 or so backlinks you can quickly figure out that the statement "Due to the overwhelming press and exposure this page has been getting on some VERY big Christian websites, I had to remove the comment form" is a lie. The links are from other spammy sites or from forum posts deriding the site, like this one.

    They do a lot of PPC, apparently at larger sites like IMDB and such.

    I know a few people who would be taken in by that "blog" - it sure does press all the right buttons.

    I agree with you, it's just a marketing ploy but does a good job of preselling though.

    I was just going to post the same thing as David. Something is seriously messed up with this link -- it makes your browser jump around. And I didn't see anything about a Christian mom -- instead, I couldn't leave the page and there was nasty things popping up (porn related).

          Ya, I can imagine. The original page was a "blog" setup by a "Christian Mom" advertising a google program.

          But the redirected/hacked link: I couldn't get the dang thing off of my screen and just had to close the browser and restart it. I'm just glad my kids weren't in the room.

          I'm wondering though. The site got hacked not long after I posted the link here. Was that a coincidence? Or did someone on this forum actually hack it after they saw my post linking to it....

            Well instantly I thought that the whole "Christian" thing would make it a target. Probably someone from here though, I can't imagine that happening otherwise. You've got to figure that there are sooooo many SQL Injections and app hacks that the normal web guy just doesn't know about, it probably wouldn't take much to hack in. Just guessing at least.
