I am creating a blog aimed at personal developement. I did not want to do the same thing that other people do and just write articles. So what I did was turn them into half journals and the other half articles. I usually ask my readers to share at the end of each article, then I will take the best resposes and publish them in my newsletter. This saves me from having to write a thing because my readers write the content in it for me. To get to the point I have seen that I am able to establish a much better relationship with my readers when I hold nothing back from them. When I tell them about my day and turn it into a lesson they seem to be willing to open up to me just as equally. I have even thought about setting up a video section to my blog and incorporating some mp3s on it in the form of private messages. A relationship is the most important thingto have with your readers. Once you have the relationship then the rest will follow. And being brutally honest about yourself to them makes them trust you and want to share with you. Whatdo you guys think.

I have always felt that honesty is the best policy in many things. But always be aware that there are many who won't believe the truth / don't want to hear it. Remember you can lead a horse to water.... |

Being as transparent as possible is always a good route to take. Sometimes, it's just not feasible in certain situations. The most honest you are, the more credible you become, and with that credibility you gain so much more from that.

It is basically a blog where I write half about my may then I take it and turn it into that days lesson. This way I never run out of content for my blog. Also it is very hard for me to fabricate my day but of course there are somethings that I will not share.

Good one. As for those blackhaters I have found that most of their methods are usually very short lived. Usually by the time they tell you about them they have already been saturated by the person who is telling. Taking my time and staying consistent is what helps me build long term success.

Not only do they not respect you but they will use the mighty reverse viral marketing technique known as bad mouthing you to everyone else and your name will be crap in no time.
