Grabbing Articles from Article Directories: As Simple as Copying/Pasting?

In my previous thread, I was kinda of hinting that I wanted to syndicate some articles for my site. While most everyone suggested that I hire writers, I'm not in the position to do so.

With that being said, I found some articles on ezine that I would like to syndicate. Do I just copy and paste it to my site? Do I contact the author? Ezine?

Help!

When you go to EzineArticles.com there will be a "Publish" button so you can copy/paste it without losing the html, which is important because the terms of EZA are that you must keep the entire article including the resource box in tact when using it. There are many other article directories but EZA seems to be the most popular.

Read the Ezine terms and conditions. In most cases these directories are set up for the purpose of providing articles that others can syndicate.
Generally, you need to use the complete article and keep the author box intact, including any links. As long as you stay within the terms of use, you shouldn't need to ask permission.

If scroll to beneath any article on Ezine Articles there is a button that says 'EzinePublisher.' This link will take you to a page where you can copy and paste the article in different formats (plain text and HTML). Remember you must include the resource box and keep the links intact.
