I just got off the phone with an offline business about doing their SEO work and we decided on a 1 year deal for $5,000 up front. The client would like us to sign a contract though since that is such a big payment up front, so does anyone know where I could find such a contract. In time I will go to a lawyer and get one drafted, but at this point I just need a quick one to use for this deal. |

Just write up what you are going to do and for how much and you agree to perform said tasks.

Just make it clean and clear. Don't try to make it legalese. If you try to make it legalese, then if it ever went to court, the court will assume you knew precisely what each legal term means. Which sometimes doesn't mean what you may assume it means.

I second legalzoom, but I think I saw a thread a few weeks back that had a sample contract on it.
