Ipod Apps

Has anyone put any thought or effort into developing Ipod apps? I've seen more than a few interviews with various entrepreneurs that say apps are THE way to make money nowadays. I was listening to a radio station today that apparently just had an app made for their morning program and they were talking about how great it was that people could listen to their station through their ipod (ipods having apretty much always on internet connection).

So that tells me that it can bring in info from the internet, sound, most likely the apps can also bring in text...read: offers.

I havent messt with the app dev. software for ipods but it sounds like it may have promise

      I think it holds a lot of potential. I could see making some slick little app that does something like say shows you stores around you at any given time that are having sales, something useful and also it sends the occasional youtube video about your own offers.
