Sales funnels are the easiest ways to start getting sales for high ticket products.

Basically you will start by selling lower ticket items and after it is bought you give them a higher ticket oto. If they buy the first oto you sell them a higher ticket and you keep doing that until you sell them your highest ticket item.

Then you will have a list of low ticket customers and high ticket customers. There is also better conversions because they are already buyers and in a buying mood.

    Hi

I also notice high ticket items are often sold with webinars. If you have a decent number of people on your list, you can do a free webinar with the product owner who reveals all his secrets. The biggest secret, of course, being 'buy my $997 product'.

If you don't have a big list or can't land the 'guru', partner with someone who has had success with the course. Do a free webinar with Tony from Sacramento who made $12,000 in 28 days with the 'Offline Prospecting Method'.

Those types of webinars are good because Tony can talk about HOW he implemented the product and what tricks he used to overcome obstacles.

You don't have to do a 'live' webinar, you can do one of those 'fake live' webinars that plays as if it is a live seminar but broadcast times are set by the visitor during the opt-in. "Submit your email and select the best viewing time..."

So drive traffic to a landing page talking about the free webinar, get opt-ins who select a time and get a sign-up 'confirmation' and an emailed link.

Excellent information there guys and gal.. I appreciate it.

The high ticket item I will be selling is going to be coaching. So I guess a webinar to my list is the way to go.

    Hi,

Folks,I can only promote high ticket affliate products amazon or webinars, courses or whatsever, when I build a list?

Without a list only with a long detailed 1000-1400 good written pre sell review I can not make sales???

    best wishes

You sell them the same way you sell a low ticket item, you just need more social proof and more selling, you also have to presell more in order to make the sale. If you can justify a higher value than the price asked, your prospects would buy. Don't expect to make as much sales from a $997 than a $19 item, but the customer value is much higher if you can sell them a high ticket item, you can them upsell them high end coaching $5k+ or more.

  • High-ticket items are all about one thing: generating a huge perceived value and desirability.

The difference with a low ticket and a high ticket product is that with a low ticket product (say a $37 Wordpress plugin), you just gotta prove that it does what it says in the tin, meaning that it basically works as advertised.

In the other hand, a high-ticket product needs to go beyond the "it works" or "it solves a specific issue" level. It must also become desirable (like a Rolex, a Ferrari, or any other high-ticket product), and in order to make it desirable you also gotta create perceived value around it, not just value or usefulness.

    Hi,

Yes that is the key, I think high priced items need to be better presell than lower price items. That's ok, then to build a list I will not do this it is more work for me and it is not
secure that you have a higher conversion rate with a list- when your conversion rate is 2% from your list- the same 2% as from your prof. written presell content why do more work- I think so.

    best wishes

I know some products that will show you how to do this but let me give you a small example on how to go abouts.

You can offer your front end product for let's say $10. The person who is about to buy this from you is happy because they are going to get the best course on that subject. So after they buy, offer them some upsells.

I think that if you do things right, you can have 30%-40% of the people who buy the $10 front end product from you end up buying some or all of your backend products.

After the $10, offer them a similar product of yours for only $200. If they buy that, offer them after that your BIG $997+ product. There is nothing wrong with that.

Upsell work and a lot of companies offline are using it. We just bought an Ipod from Apple. It did not come with a charger. The charger cost $50 so Apple or that store made an extra $50 for the charger.
