Default How to spend $150 to drive traffic to a squeeze page?

Hey guys,

I earned a profitable 2 week period in sales and will have around a $150 to spend on advertising. I plan on sending this traffic to a 'self defense niche' squeeze page. So far the possible options include:

- Spending a $100 on a state wide newspaper classified ad network
- Google Adwords PPC campaign

What are some different ways I can send traffic to my squeeze page? My topic is martial arts, I have many upsell products and a sales system in
place, but need more subscribers. So guys, what are your ideas?

You could search engine optimize your site for less competitive search terms (i.e. not "self defense" but "self defense for dudes over 60" for example). I like SEO because I don't like spending money on traffic.

find a HIGHLY targeted forum in your niche and try to get a link / banner ad placement.

Some forums are busy, and still don't monetize their site! (other than adsense etc...) this means you can make a deal for pretty Cheap! - depending on the niche ofcourse

and spend the rest on some high quality articles.

You should be able to get a few articles and a 1 month banner ad somewhere. $150 isn't a whole lot of money for advertisng, but thats what I would focus on

Get a review or two from some blogs in the niche that have a decent readership. You can ask them for specific anchor text links if they are the type that don't mind doing so.

Contextual blog links are usually permanent and can send you traffic for a while without any continual investment unlike PPC.

Already some good ideas.

Adwords is probably a good one. However - do you know how to generate free traffic? If you have done this already - then repeat what you are doing.

Otherwise - Adwords is a good choice.

Good ideas.

I've written and have submitted 50 articles on EZA. I am currently submitting them to around 300 article sites each via a software mainly for backlinks.

I've decided to change my $150 budget into different streams of income, instead of just blasting people to a squeeze page.. This is what I think so far:

$100 for a classified ad to advertise a different proven offline niche product
In the past this same site, advertisement, and newspaper network netted me 400-500 leads from my squeeze page and a 150% profit

$40 to a directory submission service for 4 websites for more backlinks
I can get around a 100 directory submissions for each of the 4 sites

$3 on an info domain for a new untapped niche market & squeeze page
I plan on writing for EZA to gather leads, traffic and affiliate sales

$30 for two pre-built affiliate product review sites.
I will be writing more articles to promote these two websites!

I figured I should diversify my business even more and turn it into multiple streams of income. As for SEO I agree it definitely works and helps for free traffic, I do alot of that for my traffic with EZA using the bum method.

Right now my biggest source of traffic is blasting articles across the 300 article directories and search engines.. I just got in the #10 position for a keyword searched 8000 times/month on google im excited

I look forward to reading more ideas from you guys thanks!
