Which Freelance sites are the best for contractors to post what they offer on?

There are lots of freelance type sites like: Elance, oDesk, VWorker, ScriptLance, freelancer, 99designs, crowdSPRING, fiverr. (any others??)

Do you know which Freelance sites are the best for contractors that offer graphic design work? Which sites will get the most jobs at the lowest fees and especially for someone new with no history.

Thanks very much.

As the contractor, if you need something done, you pick the price you wish to pay workers .
If you wish to do a job, you are paid what ever the contractor wants to pay you for that job..
      Very simple an easy...

I'm not asking how much I should charge people for my services or what I should pay subcontractors to do the work for me. I was asking how much the fees are for a contractor that does work through the site.

I`m a freelancer . My advice : Use fiverr . They charge you 20% from each order but they have huge traffic and you have the possibility to get lots of orders .

Fiverr gets the most traffic and most sales although you will need to be completing each taks in 10 minutes for you to make a good hourly rate.

GetaFreelancer is another one that I hear people talking about.

Have you guys figured out a way to make Fiverr work for tasks that take longer than 5 or 10 minutes?

Why not go to elance and check their fee schedules? I can tell you it's far less than the 20% charged by Fiverr.

If you are going to use freelance sites - do the research on each of the ones you are considering and join those that meet your specs.

It depends on the client. Sometimes, the pay you get per job is indicated and sometimes it's not. You can go to Elance so you can have an idea on how much a client will pay you for every job done.

Maybe it was right in front of me, but I couldn't find how much of a cut elance gets on their site work completed the last time I checked. Does anyone know what the percentage is? Or is it a flat fee based on the amount I charge?

          Thanks again.

For that I use vworker but I have had to most headaches from them also.

My favorite was Scriptlance but freelancer bought them out not to long ago and shut them down.
