Honestly, you have to focus in one method and if you can afford to outsource some task to other people to make the other methods work then do it.

As the others said, the best strategy is to find one method and see it through to the end putting your all into that one method. Most folks are guilty of getting super excited over 15 different ebooks they just bought and their mind goes into info-overload and none of the information ever gets put to use.

That's right. Test first on what do you think is profitable then do it alone and if you think you can't do it alone then outsource some stuff. For sure if you want to expand your business then you will outsource some of them. So think ahead. List down all the things you can do and what you can't. Duplicate yourself with qualities better than yourself if you can. It's just like go there and find a good market and when you have a profit then invest the profit again so you can get another person to do what you did.

I would honestly say stop spending there is so much info available for free. Yes there are certain things that you will have to pay for i.e. aweber, hostgator for your email responder and hosting and webdesign work and maybe outsourcing the odd thing but that really is it.

Only buy whjat you really need. Have a read round here visit other useful sites and just learn, learn , learn and you'll be ready to start your business before you know it.

First of all welcome to the forum. Second, if you want to spend money, then invest into a war room membership. The education, information in there is just amazing.

Since you are new, don't buy everything you see. Follow the motto in my sig, master it, and bring in the truckloads of greens!

The reason you're confused is because you have not settled on a online business model and you're probably also getting all the different methods of marketing mixed up with the different online business models or systems of earning income.

You mentioned Clickbank so I guess you're interested in the affiliate model.

Marketing methods are just that - different methods of getting people to view your offers, but an online business income model is how you intend to actually extract income from your marketing methods.

Simply reading everything on this forum that strikes your fancy will only lead to more confusion on your part because you don't know what to look for.

This thread ( mine ) will help you sort things out and avoid confusion and info-overload.

I totally agree with many of the above - you need to concentrate your effort in one area to start with and put all your focus on it.
I started online back in August 2008 and met information overload within about 2 months!!! It did my head in!! So, I took my foot off the pedal, evaluated what my goals were, concentrated on one area - which was niche marketing - and went for it.

I wish you all the luck in the world

Know your purpose in that way you will know what to do. don't fall into the trap of spending too much money in mentors, tutorials or ebooks. others will provide you free of charge.

I have been in your position and my advice to you would be to wear blinkers so you can focus on one thing only. Do not jump on every new thing that comes out (been doing that for the last year. Oh i wish the blinkers had come out sooner)but pick one and stick with it. Use all these great people on this forum as there is really no need to go anwhere else.

Much good advise, but the number 1 is keep your incoming email strickly limited. Keeping up with a non-stop flow of incoming offers will keep you from ever accomplishing anything.

    Best,

      Welcome to the forum.

A great starting point could be the thread Jared pointed you to back in post #2

But you really HAVE to follow the link that Allen's promoting just now, the one that's at the top of every page:

If you really want to make it big online, there are things you
      need to know.

      Find them here. Free.

It really is free (well, it will cost you your email addy and name) and you'll also be signed up to receive stuff from Paul Myers, no bad thing, believe me.

Don't buy anything else, don't follow any other link, don't visit another thread, just get the info from Paul, sit down with a pot of coffee, read the thing and plan your world domination. Simple.

      Peter
