    You can make money but it totally depends on what you sell, for example, if your Adwords costs amount to $100 per day, and you get 3 sales, the profit you get from those sales needs to be more than that to breakeven.

    Yes it is and it will always be. Just make some small tests to ensure profits and then scale it. Beware of the e-commerce niche, where the refund rates are quite big.. But if you promote a good converting product, it can make you lots of money.

    Not by direct-linking from AdWords to a hoplink, no - because that's prohibited (by AdWords, not by ClickBank).

    if you are a adwords beginner i would not recommend this way in making money online. and if you do so i advice you to set a daily maximum and this maximum should be as low as possible to test your affiliate promotion.
    i see a good chance in making money if you are familiar with adwords and keyword research and if you can find the right long tail keywords with rel. high conversions. so good luck
