This might sound stupid but the one tool that is missing on all these social sites is one that performs two functions:- 1 - Explains to me exactly what the consequences of any action I take might be 2 - Explains to me how to use the site. I joined a couple of social sites to share news and information with friends. I started to receive messages on the sites to join other sites, some of which seemed valuable enough to join so I now belong to more sites than I have the time to visit - simply because I wasn't aware of the implications of 'join my group'. Face book is an absolute mystery to me with people sending me hugs, kisses, plants, cups of coffee and other such stuff which, if you try to accept, leads you into a maze of sign up pages. What's it all about? |

Ah... Yes "Keep It Simple Stupid". You're right, many of them are too confusing.
