How many follow up emails do you send from a squeeze?

I keep hearing like 7-10 and after that the person is likely not to buy from you. Or should I make way more with alot of good content and stuff and keep selling...or is this a waste?

People buy when they're ready to buy, not when you're
    ready to sell.

Subscribers can buy at any time, so I recommend having
a strong follow-up series and continually adding more
messages to it when you can.

If you only have 7-10 follow-up messages and stop there,
you'll be curtailing your potential earnings.

Some people don't buy in those first e-mails because the
timing is just not right for them or they need to be
    further convinced.

A fuller follow-up series allows you to continually stay in
front of your target market and increases the chances
that you'll reach them when they're ready to buy.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun

"Subscribers can buy at any time" this is very important phrase if you are building subscriber........ the result may not be immediate but it would help one day..

You've been misinformed. It's not nearly as simple as that suggests. It depends on many things - including the niche (and its urgency), the traffic demographics, and your whole continuity-process.

I have some lists from which I make more after the 15th email than I do before it. And they're really productive, really responsive lists.

7-10 is a good number to start off with when you first set-up your mailing list but you should add to it continuously. Periodically go through your messages to check they are still relevant and your links are still working correctly.

Once you have a subscriber you should contact them on a regular basis with content that is relevant to them.

Some people need more time to decide than others.

How long should be a follow up message? Is it better to make it a newsletter type style with current news in the niche, interesting facts, recomended products etc. or just plain promotional email for the product?

Also is once a week worse than twice a week for follow up emails?
