I have a few products that I have originated and as my first time out I am a bit concerned on how my products would be received. I don't know if this method has been used or anything like it, but this is what I decided. I call it a Pre Sell.

A Pre Sell is similar to Beta Testing. The Product might not be fully finished, needs work, editing, etc. It is to serve several purposes, but the overall process is to improve product quality and to market test.

1. To Test to see if the product is well received. Does it give Value.
2. To receive feedback from customers on the product and make improvements.
3. The product is sold at a drastically low price.
There are 3 reasons.
A. To weigh Actual Product receptiveness by judging on feedback and any
Returns. I don't think handing out free evaluation copies would give the level of accuracy of truthfulness. Everyone likes free stuff.
B. To receive Funds to help further product development.
C. Since the product is sold at a drastic low price, there should be a bigger ratio to measure and return more accurate results.

This is what the Customer gets

1. The Product at a low low price.
2. They Get a Retail Version with full updates and packaged material. This is as long as they give feedback.

I know this sounds a bit odd.. But I think something like this could work.
