Email blast service

Really, a few thousand is not enough to warrant enlisting a service, and most services that would take you on have poor delivery rates.

You should be trickling out those emails rather than "blasting" them, and make sure you include an "opt out" link.

Best solution is to purchase a HostGator account and email sending software. Throttle the sending rate to only 30 or 40 an hour. You'll have everything delivered in a few days and HostGator won't blink an eye so long as you are sending so little per hour.

Also, sending at that rate ensures delivery to gmail and yahoo accounts, though not necessarily to the inbox (but your ip won't be blocked), plus others, and you won't have Cisco tracking you.

If you want to target particular hours of the day, then just run it at that send rate for those hours and continue the next day and so on.

Understand that HostGator allows you to send up to 400 (maybe 500) emails an hour, but that's double-optin emails, not unsolicited, spam emails. They will suspend you if you send 400 emails an hour that are unsolicited.

Don't do it if you dont want to lose money.
