Why do I not make any sales from Google adwords using 4-5 very popular keywords but I make sales from press releases and article submissions. Makes no sense to me. Does the Google adwords image of a classified ad turn off potential customers? I really do not think it is the keywords that are the problem they are popular and targeted. My ad is designed not to attract window shoppers or those looking for free stuff. My CTR is 2.60%.

    One of the overlooked benefits of article marketing is the added credibility. When someone reads an article they perceive the author to be an authority on the subject thereby making your resource link a recommendation from an authority as opposed to seeing an ad and clicking on it.

    Press release has even more credibility because it is assumed that the release is by big authoritative organization recommending author, owner, product, or program.

    The number one reason people have a hard time making money on the Internet is that they really don't understand that not all traffic is equal.

    If Press release and articles are working for you why not concentrate on them. Stick your gun with the ones that work for you and neglect the others that are not profitable.
