Does Reddit\Youtube\Facebook\Twitter traffic buy?

Is it worth trying to promote to these people? I think of these as social sites and a bunch of surfers, not buyers.

I don't think so, if traffic comes from social media, it means they'er interested in your content on facebook, twitter ... and why don't they buy anything? may be you have no-value . Create more and I hope you will see the light

I've never tried reddit, Twitter was really good a few months back, I haven't used it recently either. I'm sure it still works. Facebook is awesome, but can be overwhelming finding something that works. There are tons of different methods to promote stuff here.

Youtube is amazing, my favourite. If you start somewhere start here. Easy, fast, and as targeted as it gets.

Basically if you know how to promote, all these sites can be goldmines.

I am just starting to dabble in Reddit...but I use YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter all together. I find that YouTube is by far my biggest traffic driver. I think it is because it is a place where great content is given for free, people don't have to necessarily "like" anything or feel like you are marketing to them...and, if they are interested and you optimize your videos right, they'll know where to go to find more (your website).

I do like to blast my new videos out to all my social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Google+. I find that the more I get the word out about my videos, the more the traffic comes back to my site. No one feels threatened by a free video; and , as tmoby said, it is fast and targeted.

I think that Facebook with almost 1 billion susbcribers or fans MUST be a good place to make some bucks. Point is to find a good, not hyped product to get results there. I mean a product that really delivers. If somebody knows and proved one, pls let me know.

Reddit is a Good source for backlinks as they come up as dofollow social bookmarking. As far as youtube, facebook and twitter hard to say and depends on how you look at it. I lose energy some time even with a content sight attempting to promote. The thing is if you are net getting customers from these sites there is no point or at least until you have built a good lever of quality backlinks and gained yourself some recognition in search engine terms. Plus its stupid but i have noticed that 99% either buy or build fake fans.

What do you consider good money? All my online income comes from Youtube videos at the moment, and yes, it pays the rent (among other things )

Youtube is a great source of traffic because once you rank, it tends to stay there. I find Youtube traffic is just as good as Google traffic.

Good money I would say would be $5,000+ per month on the low end, but that is in total...hard to say from 1 source, but I don't want to waste my time on these sites for less than $1,000 per month.
