when nothing seems to work

If you have tried EVERYTHING and nothing seems to work, and you're tired, here is what you need to ask yourself:

1) Who will benefit from what I'm trying to do?
2) How will that person benefit?

If you're still reading there is hope for you.

On the other hand, those dropped out unfortunately don't want the truth. They say the gurus lie but ultimately when they see the truth they walk away.

Regardless of the "method" you choose to go with, your IM efforts must provide some kind of benefit to someone.

Until you figure out who benefits and how, nothing is going to work (at least not in the long term).

All the best!

P.S. Business and marketing don't have to be complicated. The power lies not in the "method" but in how that "method" helps you serve other people. A simple concept that is ignored by most people.

Ah well!

i totally agree with you, both sides have to benefit from any method, nothing will work if you are playing for your own only

    Hey AdwordsMogul,
Thanks a lot for that kind message. I am in a situation like that. I built 2 blogs 8 months ago. I don't earn any money at all from the blogs. Plus, I don't have time to write articles anymore for both of them because I work at the same time. I think your questions are very correct. Plus, we have to define initially how we are going to make money (monetization strategy).

Once you learn how to make things less complicated by not sweating the small stuff the easier things become! It's true. I often say, "if it's good enough, it's good enough!"

When I first started I fell into this vicious cycle of not wanting to put my ideas into action because "it was perfect!"

Well, in my opinion, nothing is ever perfect on the first try. The pro's look perfect because they have practiced... a lot! Once I got over this mindset issue, things turned around quite quickly.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

      Agreed.

Here is a very important thing: the biggest success "secrets" are counter-intuitive.

After all these years, I'm finally just BEGINNING to understand what it means to focus on the other persons needs.

I can say that learning directly from people like Perry Marshall helped me a lot - it's a complete paradigm shift.

Unfortunately, most people are too comfortable to open themselves up to other people's worlds.

As a result, they skip the basics (market research, understanding your customers) and then they blame the guru's and say "It didn't work! I pushed the button and nothing came into my account."
