how to test a search term for viability to make money from

Hi,

i'm thinking of creating an info product to sell, maybe through google adwords.

obviously it will take time to put together the product and the sales page...

are there any methods of testing a search term / a keyword, to figure out if it is likely to be good to make money from?

i don't object to putting the work in to create the products etc, but it just makes sense to test it first without putting too much work in if possible

    Hi,

The most common way is to use Google's keyword tool https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeti...=KEYWORD_IDEAS - be sure to make and exact search and not a broad one.

Another option is to use Ubersuggest to get related terms and then test them in Google's keyword tool Keyword suggestion tool — Google suggest scraper — Ãœbersuggest

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

You can look at your competition to see what they are doing in the niche. For example, if the keyword has a lot of ads running through Adwords it's easy to see that people are making money from the keyword--if they weren't there wouldn't be any ads.

As for testing yourself? You could create a squeeze page and give a report away for free. Look at your clicks to sign up ratio to see if there is a demand and then further pursue putting together a product to sell via the ads instead.

If all else fails, at least you'd end up with a few targeted subscribers to market to later.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.
