How Should I Go About Getting People To Do A Survey?
I've just finished a report that I'm about to release as a WSO in the next week or so. It will be a free WSO and I hope to get the subscribers to do a survey and I will likely create a paid product tailored to those subscribers needs from the info I get.
I'm just unsure of how or when I should present the survey, here are a few ideas I had for linking to the survey...
1) Put a link to it in the last page of the free report asking the readers to go and complete it in exchange for another gift
2) Have the link on the download page for the free report
3) After they opt in for the report, send them directly to the survey (instead of a confirmation page I could remind them at the end of the survey to go and open their confirmation email, though I think this one could be seen as having them jump through too many hoops for a free report)
4) Just have it in the follow up sequence about a week or 2 down the line after delivering more content via email
What are your thoughts? Has anyone here ever ran a survey to their list? What is the best way to do it?
