PMing on the Warrior Forum

I have recently noticed WF has changed the ability to PM on the Warrior Forum.

I am a full war room member and now I can only send 10 PMs per hour and have to wait 120 seconds in between?

Anyone know why WF has brought this in? I guess its because people were spamming or abusing this.

I send out a lot of PMs as I offer sample sites to potential customers and its getting kinda annoying waiting around to be able to send PMs.

So now becoming a full member you are still restricted when it comes to PMing

I wonder what you mean by "potential customers". If people have contacted you and asked to see sample sites, then couldn't you use email?

If you are just sending PMs to random people who haven't asked for your samples then that's spamming, isn't it? And is probably why the new restriction has been introduced.

      You're right Rose.

Pm has been restricted because of spamming even if we have good intention. But sometime mass pming sound like spamming.

If you have many request for your samples just use your "contact us" form from your website, so you will get in touch will them directly from mails.

      Thanks

I don't think the OP is intending to spam. It looks like he is getting requests in his WSO thread for "sample sites" via PM?

To the OP I suggest you do what Carol has suggested and ask people to provide an email address. I suggest you ask them to PM you this info, rather than publish it in an open forum.

Because mass pm'ing people is spam and pm spam is not allowed.

Exactly. This new provision was added like a month ago I believe. Accounts were being hacked (I think the hackers had been narrowed down to Easter Europe or Russia?) and then used to send massive amounts of PM spam. Be happy, at first it was a 300 second wait in between PMs.

Anyways, even for a legitimate message I don't see how you're sending more than one every two minutes unless you're giving generic/one liner responses. Flip it around and turn it into an opportunity for you to work on your customer service skills .
