I twitter and I love it. I didn't see the point for a while either but now that I'm doing it it's just a great way to network with like minded people. I've also got a lot more followers from the WF group so defiantly check that out |

I tried them a little. I think I'll use it more... I did get 11,000 followers, so may be a good way to communicate :-) |

Yup. I think it is a great way to socialize with people. Perry Belcher once described it (and other social media's) as a party. It is where you get to know people and chat with them. That's where the connections are first built. I think the biggest thing is to just have fun with it. Don't use it solely as a selling tool. But mainly an easy way to keep in contact with your 'friends'. ~Sarah Johnson |

![]() I use Twitter everyday and I've met a lot of great people on Twitter I wouldn't have been able to meet otherwise. Where else can you talk to people like John Reese, Gary Vaynerchuk, or Chris Brogan? I flat out love it and I've used it successfully within certain niches as well. | |

Twitter shows a ton of promise if you're willing to take part in a conversation, and not just promote your own website or product. It takes a fair amount of listening as tell as talking. But it's fantastic for research, too -- just plug your keywords into Twitter Search, and see what people are saying about your niche. You might find some great folks to connect with either as customers, or potentially partners! |

I've just started twittering. Twitter.com/jeffspires However, i'm not to sure if it's a great place to be marketing yourself. The only methods that I have found so far are: - Making a post every hour, this way you'll get massive exposure - Creating a background that promotes your product or service. But, it's very time consuming. |

Hmmm Sounds like and addiction... "I only used it a little at first"? Sorry, just had to add that. I'm just getting my feet wet and it still scares me. What would that look like out on the street, 11,000 followers? |
