    It all depends what your business is trying to sell or what kind of services you offer to people.

    There are countless ways to drive traffic back to your site but not all will convert as well as others as you need to think about how you can connect the traffic you are looking for with the offers you are going to offering.

    I would recommend looking at the JV section of the forum and asking some warriors there what they think and maybe someone has the right kind of traffic for you and you may be able to do some ad purchases with them.

    Hope this helps have a great day!!!

    As gcbmark20 said, make sure the traffic is targeted. You could try out YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and make sure you build a list! Another way to drive targeted traffic would be by choosing long tail buyer keywords for your articles and then getting some high quality links to them to help them rank higher.

    You need to test various marketing techniques for yourself as each technique will yeild differing results between person to person and niche to niche.

    The main aim is usually to perform SEO to rank your site highly in the search engines for high traffic, related, and buyer-orientated keywords, this will attract the best quality traffic and is fairly hands-off when you start ranking highly.

    Other things you can try are Adwords (pay per click), direct email marketing, social marketing, getting involved in related forums and blogs, pay for advertising banner space in various related websites to yours. etc.

    Think outside the box and split test everything you can so that you can really scale up on the things that yield best results.

    Helpful and useful content is king! Google always indexes the most relevant content first, so start writing content that is useful and people want to link to naturally.Another thing you can do is to start writing for other blogs in your niche, guest posting.This will give you valuable links back to your site and also new readers and more traffic.

      That happens a lot on every forum I am a member of. People with just a few posts and we will probably never see him/her again here haha.

      Pointless threads. They can search other threads to get answers.

      The answers are usually all the same.

        True, but hopefully the next personally that *really* needs the advice will find the ones given helpful.

        Think Traffic is good. I would also add to that Ana Hoffman's Traffic Generation Cafe.

        Nothing beats quality content for driving traffic to your website. Check out this post for the perfect example where a blogger was able to get 40,000 uniques in the first month of setting up his blog: How To Get Over 50,000 Visits to Your Blog in the First Month

    Hi Recycling,

    There are so many different ways to drive traffic to your site that it's difficult to draw a list! One thing is certain though, you should start with one or two methods and stick to them until you start seeing results.

    One of the best way to drive quality traffic is to write articles and publish them on a blog. You can also later post them on articles directories.

    Another great way to drive traffic to your site is by commenting on forums! However, your comments should be informative and not just a couple of lines! You should look out for forums within your niche!

    Guest blogging is also very effective but I do find blog commenting better!

    Good luck with it all!

    Y.

    Simple, buy traffic. You don't need hundreds or thousands, just $50 will get you started. SEO takes time and can be mind numbingly tedious.

      However you are still required to do a little effort in the ON-page SEO. At least to help make a conversion from that paid traffic.

    Search engine optimization is about ways to get your website to the top of search engines. This cannot be stressed enough. You can do this by generating useful content like articles and blogs, by social networking and the development of multimedia. This sounds easy but it’s a lot of hard work. Still, you can also strategically spread your content in different websites while keeping your target niche in mind. Be very careful not to overlink to pages within your site, this is a new penalty from Google's most recent update.

      That is a very broad question. Do some on page optimization for the keywords you want to hit first. I'd say, research the keywords, look at the competition, and figure out what you want to go after. Do some off page-link building, write some quality articles, etc.

      Here are my best ways to get new visitors/customers/sales:
      1. Direct email, either to my list or through Solo Ads (very effective).
      2. Sell something on eBay, since eBay does not allow digital products this does mean fulfillment and shipping, but this is my most successful way to get new customers to my list
      3. JV Giveaways. I sign up for every JV Giveaway event I can find (getting on lists makes this easy). I always go for just the 1 free gift so I am not spending anything on this. I usually get 2-3 sign-ups per giveaway. This is of course slow, but at no cost it does bring in about 1000 new sign-ups per year for only about 5 minutes of work each morning.
      4. Bing, I get pretty good results from Bing at a cost that is much lower than Google. But still pricy per sign-up, I end up paying about $4 per lead on Bing, but at least the numbers are predicable.
      5. My own web site at howtogurus.com. Most of the traffic to howtogurus gets there from links in Articles I have written. But I do get a fair amount of traffic based on SEO work I have done. To be honest it takes years to build up good traffic based solely on SEO. Articles are faster, but not as effective now-a-days after Panda.

      What hasn't worked for me:
      1. Facebook, way too expensive to advertise. Likes and friends just don't convert to sales.
      2. Google. Too expensive for my product line. My products average about $25. I used to use Google very effectively years ago when I was web master for a fine watch company, but then their average product price was well over $1000. In that price range Google works great. I could probably make it work for products above $200.
      3. Twitter, useless. Fun, but useless. I get new followers every week, but I have yet to confirm one sale driven by Twitter.
      4. Amazon. I sell a lot on Amazon, but since Amazon keeps the customer list I can't resell to those customers. Great venue for selling, useless for followup sales.
      5. Classifieds. I have tested this several times over the years with no success.
      6. Exact Seek. I get a few sign-ups this way and for the cost I guess it works, but the volume is just not there.
      7. I run several blogs in different niches. Lots of fun, lots of visitors, but few sales. But then my blogs are mostly hobby stuff so not really appropriate for good sales anyway. Blogs could work great if you have the right offering.

    I used youtube videos a few years back to drive traffic to a few of my websites that I used to run. It worked out pretty well.

    I gave up the sites as I lost interest in them. And other offline things were taking priority then.

    I plan to use youtube videos again to drive traffic to my web hosting company in future. I just need to purchase a new camera first as my other one bit the dust a few months ago.

      Life has become a lot trickier in the last few months with all the changes Google made.

      To drive traffic falls into two categories, free and paid. The safest bets for free traffic are:
      1. Posts and guest posting, be careful about using your sites name and not a backlink;
      2. Podcast;
      3. Videos; and
      4. Becoming an active member in respected forums.
      Paid traffic is easier:
      1. Build a list;
      2. Buy the use of a list; and
      3. Buy traffic.
      I would not classify any of these 3 to be cheap. Buying advertising is not on the list because it is not cheap, you should have a bucket or two of money to throw out the window, if you don't know how to interpret the traffic you get.

      Good Luck,
      Wayne

    Damn dude really? All you have to do, is go to the search bar at the top of the forum and search for the many ways to get more traffic, there are a plethora of ways to do it both free and paid. However, at the risk of sounding redundant, ppc, solo ads, media buys for paid, then articles, blogs, press release, social sites etc for free.

    There are many ways to drive traffic to your site. What is your site about and you have to look at the demographics to who you want visiting your site. You can go the the JV section of the Warrior, you can research on google, you can try writing articles on Ezine and the like. There are programs with backlinks, IE: ABC3k to purchase. Good luck,
