How to find and attract new affiliates to my website

I'm not using any of the top affiliate networks, but I have a website that converts like crazy, and it's a pretty high end product in the dancing niche.

I chose not to go with clickbank, or ejunkie and the others because my checkout converts better.

Anyone have any advice for how to attract affiliates or jv's?

Is there a database or a website that functions as an affiliate exchange?

      I'd rather have 10X more and better affiliates with a less converting checkout process, than 10X less affiliates with a higher converting checkout process...

    1) Create an affiliate signup form and submit it to the affiliate directories online.

    2) Join Paydotcom

    3) Advertise on Clickbank's login page to attract more affiliates

    4) Put a link onto your website that links to your affiliate program description

    You should have a quality product, sell yourself and convince your market. You can find a lot of affiliates out there just need to find the right one that suits you. Advertisement is one important tool in attracting affiliates to your website.
