Any tips for e mail marketing

I get a good rate with my customers and send them 2 emails at first, straight after sign up and then 24hrs later.

After that they receive 2 a week my weekly ezine and an offer (jvs etc)

Very few people subscribe this way in comparison to people that email their list everyday and this can get very annoying. Make sure you never contact them that much as people wont appreciate it and many will accuse you of spamming them.

The idea you have is brilliant just make sure you spread it about over a decent time and talk to them as if your their friend dont patronise them or do the over sell and as a subscribers point of view it can be annoying if you put an offer in and then a day later come back and say just 12hrs left of offer etc.

Another point is to make sure you have a decent (OTO) one time offer that people will get when they confirm their email address. This is usually one of your products with a decent discount.

I would also make sure that on the download page you put a couple of affiliate links to hgelp with your income and when you do a email message inc a special offer right at the bottom as a two liner like you would with a signature on a forum.
