Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

I will never understand why people have to be deceitful and fake stats. I would personally prefer if someone showed a REAL $1000 a day screenshot instead of a FAKE $100000 a day screenshot.

Screen shots of any form of income "proof" have lost its appeal and weight as far as I'm concerned. A bitmap of a paycheck, a affiliate stats scree or a big house with 5 cars parked in the garage are all too easy to fake. But the sad thing is that newbies who are desparate to find the "easy" was to riches are desparately in need of some reassurance to find the magic bullet and sadly they are the target market of these fakers.

I just watch those videos with guys with the cars, mansions, showing their boats ( rented or whatever) just for kicks. kind of reminds of me the Tom Vu seminar infomercials...

I think if you're going to claim you have a certain income it's important to prove it but clearly a screenshot of your paypal account or pictures of your cars and your mansion are no longer adequate proof any more.

I do remember the legendary direct marketer Joe Karbo had a letter from his accountant verifying he had a net worth in excess of $1 million.

The accountant's name and address were prominently displayed.

            That's a little more compelling.

I guess online marketers will have to work harder at upping the level of proof in their sales copy.

            Kindest regards,

With a networth of over 1 million one could "buy" one's self an accountant

But yes you're right. Stating you're rich and proving it is definitely getting harder this day and age. Interesting to see how "proof" will evolve.

That is so pathetic, someone using photoshop to make fake earning screenshots.

I'm a capitalist 100% and don't like government overregulation but some agency comparable to the FTC should crack down on these fakers.

I thought you were going to say something like, "start with $200,000 a week, and open a margin account with your broker..."
