Who do you prefer?

The old school offline markers such as:

Brian Tracy

Or the new school online marketers such as?
Mike Filsaime
Perry Marshall
Rich Jerk

Actually, I think all of those you named are brilliant marketers. They all have their own style, and I learn a lot of by watching what they do. I do know there's a lot of cross-over (online-offline and vice-versa) in their marketing, so I wonder if the line's a little more blurred now?

I'm a fan of Jay Abraham, Jay Conrad Levinson, Dan Kennedy and a few others.

I'm also a fan of Perry Marshall, Ken McCarthy and a few others.

When it comes to writing copy, Paul Myers, Clayton Makepeace, John Carlton and the late Gary Halbert top my list. If I want to go way back, you can add Robert Collier, John Caples and the like...

I don't really prefer one over the other
I call us all marketers. Doesn't matter the
    medium they use...

One thing I do see is that over all the
ones focusing more on offline marketing
seem to make more money then the ones
    focusing only online.

Here's a cool website for anyone doing
some offline marketing NextMark - Buy Mailing Lists, Sell Mailing Lists, Learn About Mailing Lists

It's basically the online and free version
of the famous SRDS book that all the offline
guys use to find lists to rent.

I was looking today and found a list where
I can pay $85 to buy 1,000 names of affluent
golfers who bought a premium set of golf clubs
and were interested in golf swing improvement
    information.

    Purty cool me thinks! ;-)

I prefer anyone who knows what they're talking about ;-)

Particularly people who teach solid, proven methods that have been tested - no theories.
