Where do you find French writers?

Does anyone know some sites where I can hire French freelancers for writing and/or translating? I tried a few of my usual freelancing sites, but I think it's targeted mostly towards English speakers, so I haven't gotten any response.

I am also hopeless with the language, so I don't even know where to start looking! I was hoping someone would be able to provide a few recommendations for me. Ideally, the French freelancer can communicate with me in English, or I might have to spend a lot of time on Google Translate. :p

    Sorry, I couldn't resist. But seriously, try searching the outsourcing sites again e.g. Odesk, Elance, etc. Plus, they have online customer service chat that could help you search.

    Also, just Google 'french translation services.' I saw a ton of sites related pop up. Some charge per word or per page. But many are same day, even 1 hr turnaround.

      Heh heh, as soon as I hit 'submit', I realized that I was asking for that punchline.

    You can find bilingual writers in online job sites. Found an excellent writer in oDesk. Still works for me up to this day!
