Wordpress better security - help

I have been locked out of my site because of wordpress better security plugin.

I made a back-up though, but don't know where to upload the file in file manager.

The file is an sql file, can anyone help?

Thanks.

You will need to look inside your Wordpress SQL database for a table named "banned IP's" or something along those lines. Then find the row with your IP and delete it.

If you don't feel comfortable with doing it, your web host "may" be able to help you, but I'm not sure since it's not a server problem.

What control panel do you use? Is it cPanel or another proprietary control panel? Most should have phpMyAdmin, which you'll need to use to get into the database. Like I said, if you're not comfortable, I'd recommend you contact your web host.

If all else fails contact your hosting company. They have helped me with this situation successfully in the past. Good luck.
